A New Ring with Meaning
Olivia SchlevogtThis piece began with a collection of jewellery that was no longer being worn.

She had gathered together several pieces over the years, some no longer to her taste, others simply left in a drawer. But one stone mattered more than the rest. An amethyst her husband had given her, something she wanted to keep and carry forward into a new piece.

We melted down the gold from her existing jewellery and designed a ring around the amethyst, giving it a new setting that felt more like her now. Something she could wear and enjoy every day.

There was still some gold remaining, so I made a second, simpler ring alongside it. Two pieces, both connected to what came before, but shaped for how she wants to wear them now.

The sentiment remains. The form evolves.
