Studio & Events
My Rochester studio is a small, working space where I share traditional jewellery techniques in a hands-on, practical way, through workshops and occasional open studio events. Whether you’re coming to learn or view my collections, I keep things intentionally intimate, so there’s time to learn by doing, build confidence, and develop your own style over time.
Upcoming Events
Medway Open Studios & Arts Festival
I open my studio as part of Medway Open Studios and Arts Festival each year, and have been exhibiting as part of the event for many years.
In 2026, the festival runs from Saturday 4th July to Sunday 19th July, offering a free art trail across Medway. It brings together over 200 artists across more than 25 venues, with work spanning jewellery, ceramics, painting, printmaking, textiles, photography and more.
It’s a chance to step inside working studios, including my own, and see where and how pieces are made. You’re very welcome to drop in, look around, and ask questions, whether you’re curious about the process, considering a commission, or simply exploring the trail.
Across the event, there’s an opportunity to meet artists, view exhibitions, take part in activities, and experience the range of creative work happening across this part of Kent.
It’s always a relaxed and informal environment, and I look forward to welcoming both new and familiar faces into the studio.
Details of my opening times will be shared in the event brochure and on Instagram.
Bespoke Workshops
Alongside my regular teaching, I offer bespoke workshops for individuals and small groups. These are flexible and tailored to you, whether you’d like to try something new, develop a specific technique, or spend time making with friends or family.
Workshops can be booked as one-to-one sessions or for groups of up to four people, and they’re suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to more experienced makers.
You might spend your time making a silver ring, learning to set a stone, or working on a personal project with guidance throughout.
Bespoke workshops in my Rochester studio are charged at £30 per person, per hour | Minimum booking: three hours | Materials are charged separately depending on your project.
If you’d like to enquire or talk through an idea, just send me an email.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are available for bespoke jewellery workshops, offering a thoughtful and creative experience to share or enjoy individually. Whether it’s a special birthday, anniversary, celebration or simply a unique gift, workshops can be tailored to the recipient and provide the opportunity to learn new skills and create something truly personal by hand.
Prices start at £90
Weekly Studio Sessions
I also run small, term-time classes for a limited number of students in my Rochester studio. These sessions have become a steady part of studio life, with many people returning week after week, some for years, developing their skills at their own pace.
Each session lasts two hours and is limited to four students, which allows me to give close guidance and one-to-one support where needed. My teaching is practical and responsive. I demonstrate techniques, work alongside you, and often guide you hands-on through each stage of making.
The group is always a mix of makers at different stages. Some are complete beginners, others have their own workshops or small businesses. What they share is a curiosity for the craft and a desire to improve in a supportive, relaxed environment.
Sessions run in line with school terms and are booked in blocks | £30 per session (two hours)
At the moment, all weekly sessions are fully booked. If you’d like to be contacted when a space becomes available, you’re very welcome to join the waiting list by emailing me.
Open Studio Events
I take part in selected open studio events throughout the year, including Medway Open Studios.
These events are an opportunity to visit my workspace, see where and how pieces are made, and get a closer sense of the materials and processes involved. You’re welcome to drop in, look around, and ask questions, whether you’re curious about the craft, considering a commission, or simply interested in seeing behind the scenes.
Open studio events are informal and relaxed. There’s no expectation to buy, just a chance to experience the studio and the work in person.
Details of upcoming dates will be shared here, via my newsletter and on Instagram.
